E. CONTRACTOR shall obtain all approvals, authorizations, and/or permits that maybe required <br />other than those provided by others. <br />Mobilization of materials, labor, and equipment to the. site shall not be commenced until <br />CONTRACTOR has completed the work preparation phase, unless authorized by <br />COMPANY. <br />2. The work preparation phase shall include obtaining all approvals, authorizations, letters of <br />acceptance, and/or permits that maybe required of CONTRACTOR to actually perform the <br />site work. Permits from governing agencies must be obtained, including but not limited to: <br />a. USDA Forest Service -Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests <br />b. Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) <br />c. Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (DBMS) <br />F. Construction shall not be considered complete until the State Engineer has accepted the Work in <br />writing. <br />1.05 WORK BY COMPANY <br />A. COMPANY or COMPANY's Representative, will establish P.I.'s, survey base lines, centerlines, <br />and benchmark elevations, the initial slope stakes, and finished grade ("blue top") stakes at the <br />dam locations. CONTRACTOR shall be responsible for the maintenance of all survey points. <br />COMPANY or COMPANY'S Representative will make surveys required to determine quantities <br />for payment. CONTRACTOR may witness all such surveys and all drawings and calculations <br />shall be available for CONTRACTOR'S inspection and review. CONTRACTOR shall do all <br />survey work necessary for construction of the embanlanents including, but not limited to, setting <br />slope stakes, maintaining benchmarks, stationing, and determining the limits of the materials <br />within the embanlanents as well as the elevations. COMPANY or COMPANY'S Representative <br />will survey and monitor instrumentation. <br />B. COMPANY shall obtain the following approvals, authorizations, letters of acceptance, and/or <br />permits that maybe required: <br />a. Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR) -Office of the State Engineer authorization <br />to proceed. <br />b. Any proposed significant or substantial changes (including but not limited to field changes <br />' and change orders) to the proposed modifications, as defined by the active permit(s) from <br />the Colorado Division of Water Resources (DWR), shall be not be made unless authorized <br />by the DWR. <br />' c. General Storm Water Permit for Construction Activity (NPDES/SDS Permit) (if required). <br />All other required approvals, authorizations, letters of acceptance, and/or permits shall be <br />' obtained by CONTRACTOR. <br />' ~ 01110-5 <br />
