<br />The fill and support berm for the shop slope was nearly completed <br />in the last year. Only some minor additional filling is needed and the <br />construction of the sediment and erosion control pond with its <br />connection to the drainage channel. <br />Although the drainage channel is supposed to be rip rapped <br />throughout its length, this has not yet been completed. This is due to <br />a consideration of extending the culverts down the drainage an <br />additional hundred feet or so and backfilling over the top of the <br />culverts to merge the old stockpile area to the east of the office with <br />the fill and support berm. This would provide for a greater amount <br />useful land which would not be divided by the drainage channel and would <br />add to the utility of the reclaimed land for future uses. <br />Near the Main Plant in Tract WDT an old slope was graded and <br />topsoiled, however, no seeding was done. By the time the grading was <br />completed it was too late to implement the seeding. This slope is a <br />steep south facing slope. Seeding is planned for this next October. <br />The slope will be fine graded just prior to seeding. <br />All total about 21 to 22 acres of the operation is under some stage <br />of reclamation, and most of that is under some stage of revegetation. <br />This area does not include the approximately 5 acres of the old Peter <br />Kiewit stockpile area which has been reclaimed even though it is not <br />part of the mining plan.
