This information was collected over the period from November 25 through
December 4, 1993.
1 CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
During the period November 25 through 29 (Thanksgiving weekend and the Monday
following), very little was done on the embankment as BMRI's workers were off and the
borrow pit was being developed. During this period there was a substantial quantity of liner
' cover placed, as Southway's workers did not take any days off.
Weather conditions have generally been conducive to the construction activities. One dusting
of snow was experienced at the site on the morning of December 3.
The construction activities during this period are outlined below.
' • VLDPE Liner Repair
' All liner repairs were completed and tested during this work period.
• Liner Cover
' All liner cover material has been placed. Several small Iless than 1 acre) areas remain where
additional material must be placed to reach the 24 inch minimum cover thickness. This work
' will be completed on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
Consulting Engineers and Scientists
