' Larry Oehler
November 29, 1993
Papa 3
i,
1500 cubic yards (material to be placed) for material Type 2 is being exceeded by SRK. They
~t have and are currently conducting gradations at a rate of four per acre. This is approximately
one test for each 800 cubic yards fora 2-foot thick cover.
' Another requirement in the November 2 letter was that both the Type 2 and 3 materials have
one lab permeability test conducted per acre of installation. As mentioned above, WWL has
not received a summary of all the laboratory testing in progress. This information (and the
testing) is still in the process of being completed.
' It appears from the field testing summary that a sufficient quantity of testing has been and
is being conducted. Testing includes Proctor compaction, in-place density and moisture
' content, and gradation tests on soils. Instead of repeating the information contained in SRK's
interim laboratory and field summary, I will refer to it only. WWL was informed that a copy
would be provided to DMG. If you do not receive a copy, WWL can provide you with one.
' If you have any questions concerning the information contained in this letter, please contact
Clint Strachan or me.
' Yours sincerely,
WATEnR, WASTE & LAND, INC.
~~sD.~~s
Douglas O.
