A3 Well <br />This well serves as representative of "undisturbed" <br />groundwater conditions up gradient from Colowyo mining <br />activities. The analysis do not indicate any potential <br />problems with the groundwater associated with Goodspring <br />Creek. <br />A6 Well <br />With the expansion of mining activities to the south in <br />Section 16, Colowyo established a new up gradient, undisturbed <br />conditions, monitoring well call A6 Well located above the <br />confluence of the West Fork and Main Fork of Goodspring Creek. <br />Consolidation Coal Company originally established A6 Well, and <br />their water analysis data from 1984 and 1985 is presented <br />along with Colowyo data from the last two quarters of 1992. <br />Water analysis data shows good water quality indicative of <br />undisturbed conditions. Beginning in 1993, the A6 Well will <br />replace the A3 Well. <br />2. STREETER FILL SURVEY MONUMENTS <br />Reauirement <br />As per Rule 2.06 Special Categories, Colowyo is required to <br />monitor, quarterly, the 12 survey monuments on the face of <br />Streeter Fill. <br />Response <br />Two monuments are located at approximate 100' intervals <br />from the 6700' level to the 7200' level on the Fill. Refer to <br />the 1992 Annual Report MaA for details regarding the specific <br />location of each monument. A printout of the survey data is <br />4 <br />
