i ' <br />te YSSF2. This site exists <br />S on a Sage Creek trihu Gary below SCC <br />s Seneca II-W water <br />augmentation Pond Yl. It will be the site of the proposed Yoast NPDESI2 pond. Monitoring <br />at this site was resumed this year after the monitoring requirement ras discontinued in <br />1993 (although flow values and field parameters were occasionally collected in 1994 to <br />1997). <br />Site Y553. Thrs site is upstream of Pond Y1 (see previous paragraph). Monitoring at this <br />site vas resumed this year after the monitoring requirement ras discontinued in 1993. <br />NPDESI0. This sediment pond ras completed in August 1996. Flow was observed at this site <br />for the first time ever on February 24, 1997. Baseline data for this site, both <br />downs Cream (Site YSA4) and upstream (Site YSAF4) of the pond, have been provided after the <br />water quality report. NPDESI0 exhibits an increasing TDS trend. <br />NPDESII. This pond exists on a Grassy Creek tributary and was completed in October 1997. <br />- ~ Flow was ' first observed at this site on April .23, 1998. Flow had stopped by June 24, <br />1998. • <br />' ~. .. Site YSGFS. •'This site exists on Graeey: Creek below the NPDESII pond. Its hydrograph <br />indicates a higher than normal spring runoff. Its TDS plot indicates a decreasing trend. <br />Site YSGS. This site exists on Grassy Creek below all discharges from both the Yoaet and <br />Seneca II Mines. It became part of the required monitoring program in October 1995. TDS <br />va lose here are affected more by the Seneca II Mine than the Yoast Mine. Its TDS plat <br />indicates a decreasing trend. <br />Spring YSPG6. This spring (also known ae Armand Spring A1) supplies rater to the old <br />Armand homestead. Its EC plot indicates and increasing trend. <br />Spring YSPG10. This spring is actually an artesian well (also known as Armand Artesian <br />Well) . It is sampled only when floring. No flow at this site has occurred since an <br />attempt to redevelop this yell in July 1996. <br />Comparison of Surface Water quality to Water Use Standards.
