• Alajor Disturbance:
As access and operations areas have been established
under a previous permit, excavation under a new permit
can begin immediately following the dewatering of the
existing pit. This existing pit contains our approved
NPDES Discharge Point, so we plan this to be the hinge
point of the staged expansion of the mine. Since much
of the aggregate e is below the water table, water will
have to be pumped throughout all extraction operations.
Because of our plan (and commitment to Mr. Chambers)
to excavate the pit to the full depth of the available
aggregate (approximately 15') our expected annual
• extraction rate of 50,000 tons should open an area
approximately 1.3 Acres/Year and require only 60 Days
of operation per year.
The 3:1 sideslopes recommended by the Soil Conservation
Ser\ e will be left in tact rather than excavated vertically
and reconstructed with excess overburden. Leaving the
slopes will result in a loss of approximately 100,000 CY
of the available aggregate and reduce the total life
production of the 40.33 Acre mine to about 900,000 CY.
With our anticipated annual requirement of 50,000 Tons,
the life of the mine is expected to be 31 Years.

~~- - - ~__ - ....___~~__x_ ._. __.,._ _-~....~.~-i-.----- -- ~...
