A higher level of detail is <br />' provided for days that Mr. Marinelli was present on site. <br />' Monday, February 24, 1997 <br />Driller mobilized equipment onto site. Excavated mud pit. <br />' Tuesday, February 25, 1997 <br />Drilled 14-inch diameter borehole to 80 feet below ground surface (BGS). <br />' Installed steel surface casing to 80 feet BGS. Annulus sealed with Portland type UII <br />cement from 80 to about 55 feet BGS. Cement placed with tremie pipe. Total of 8 sacks <br />of cement. Cement mix: 7 gallons water per sack. <br />Wednesday, February 26, 1999 <br />' Dri]]er completed rigging up. <br />t 10:20 to 17:40 - Drilled a 5-5/8-inch pilot hole from 80 to 622 feet BGS using standard <br />mud rotary and afish-tail (drag) bit. Drilling mud consisted of bentonite and biopolymer <br />' additive. Very fast drilling with poor sample return. Difficult to log chips.
