<br />t <br />I.0 INTRODUCTION <br />This report provides detailed documentation on the installation and testing of an industrial water <br />' well, located on land owned by Coors Energy Company, approximately 5 miles north of <br />Keenesburg, Colorado. The well was drilled and completed by Dreiling Drilling Company, Inc. <br />' under the field supervision of Fred Marinelli, a senior hydrologist with Shepherd Miller, Inc. <br />This new well replaces an old water well which has been sealed and abandoned. Appendix A <br />' contains a copy of the State of Colorado Water Well Permit, and Appendix B contains copies of <br />well drilling/completion forms and the borehole geophysical log, all submitted by Dreiling <br />' Drilling Company to the State. Geophysical logging was conducted by COLOG, Inc. under <br />contract to the drilling company. Subsequent sections of this report contain additional well <br />' drilling and construction information compiled by Fred Marinelli, based on his field notes and <br />' office evaluations. A complete copy of Mr. Marinelli's field notes is provided in Appendix C. <br />' The following well/permit identification numbers aze used on forms submitted to the Colorado <br />Division of Water Resources: <br />' 24650-F is the permit number for the old water well which is now abandoned and <br />replaced by the new well. <br />' 97VE047 was a temporary identification number assigned to [he new well. <br />' 048289-F is the permit number for the new water well. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />lndustria!
