Please in the future make every attempt to monitor quality in the
spring, rather than two fall samples, as was the case this water year (Well 008-77-58).
CYCC Response
CYCC is unsure of the Division's reference to well 008-77-58, as this well is a Wadge
Overburden bedrock well. This well was sampled in May and September of 1990, rather than
with two fall samples as stated in the review letter. It should be noted that both of the spoil wells
monitored for this permit were sampled in both May and September of 1990. Should further
clarification on the matter be required, please let us know so that this discrepancy can be
resolved.
MLRD Concern
Surface Water
1) There are no water level readings for Site 304 for April, May, July, September. Please
explain this discrepancy.
CYCC Response
The readings in question were in fact taken, but were incorrectly entered into the database
resulting in their omission from the AHR report. The values in question are as follow:
April = -2.54
May = -1.80
July = -1.50
September =dry/no flow
MLRD Concern
Ponds
1. All requirements were me[.
