Permit C-84-062 Mine 3
Enclosed please fmd CYCC's responses to questions raised in your review of the 1990 Water
Year report for the referenced permit. As previously discussed, attempts were made to
incorporate requested changes into the previously submitted 1991 Water Year AHR but a number
of items were not addressed due to the time constraints involved. Those items not addressed
during the 1991 report will be incorporated into the 1992 AHR as agreed upon, as will those
items identified as being necessary during the review of the 1991 AHR.
Each MLRD concern is stated, followed immediately by CYCC's response.
MLRD Concern
General Comments
Overall, the report is well organized and flows in a logical order. However, a few comments
are worthy of mention. Station 76 and Pond B are used interchangeably in the text without
reference to the fact that they are the same location, and neither is located on the enclosed map.
Please submit a revised map which shows all monitoring stations, including the pond discharge
points. Also, the two effluent sites appazently have separate NPDFS permits. Clarification of
this in the text would be helpful.
CYCC Response
CYCC will revise the map as requested and submit the updated version with the 1992 AHR.
Also, additional clarification concerning NPDES Permit numbers will be included in the 1992
AHR.
MLRD Concern
Monitoring Frequency
Bedrock Wells
1. All requirements were met
