Historical soil replacement <br />thickness information for the 1984 through 1992 reclamation blocks is presented in Table 9- <br />9-3, Attachment 9-4, Tab 9 of Permit C-80-005, the Second, Third, and Fourth Annual Topsoil <br />and Spoil Monitoring Reports for the 1987, 1988, and 1989 field seasons, and the Annual <br />Reclamation Reports IPCC, 1988; 1989; 1990; 1992; PWCC, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997(. <br />Topsoil replacement depths for the 1998 field season are presented in Table 98.2, [he <br />average topsoil replacement depth for the 1998 Wolt Creek pIt area is 12.4 inches based on <br />25 samples taken on a 500 foot slant grid. Some sample numbers are skipped because those <br />points fell outside of the 1998 replacement area. <br />Soil Balance <br />Seneca submitted the final soil balance as Technical Revl Sion No. 31 on June 26, 1997 as <br />the final reclamation - topsoil management plan for Seneca II. Subsequently, the CCMG <br />approved this final topsoil ma nagemenC plan on December 9, 1997. Hence, no soil balance <br />will be submitted with any further Annual Reclamation Report. <br />• Soil Salvage, Storage and Replacement <br />So11 salvage (disturbance) areas and soil stockpiles sites as of December 31, 1998 are <br />shown on Exhibit 9-3a, from the 1995 Annual Reclamation Report. Topsoil stockpile volume <br />information is presented in Table 98.1. Approximately 175.8 acre-feet of soil remained In <br />stockpiles as of December 31, 1998. Using scrapers 174.3 aces of topsoil was replaced <br />during 1998, see drawing 5298-4 A. The soil was removed Erom stockpiles O, T, AA, BB, LL and <br />00.
