As a result of Technical Revision 21, select stock ponds installed in 1990 were monitored.
Location of these ponds may be found on Exhibit 7-7, Surface Hydrology Map, in the Seneca
II Permit Application Package. Monitoring of these sites will be discussed later in this
report.
Surface water quality data are presented in Appendix E. Data for each site begins with a
floe hydrograph of all historic data (plus an annual hydrograph for NPDES sites), followed
by ~a statistical summary of eater quality data for the current eater year, and then a
listing of individual eater quality and quantity data for the current eater year. Percent
mi lliequivalent values (used to determine eater quality type) are presented in Tables 15
through 18 (Appendix A). Crest stage gage rating curves are presented in Appendix F.
NPDES discharge monitoring reports (DMRS) are presented in Appendix G.
Lab samples are handled identically to procedures discussed previously in the ground eater
section. For the sake of brevity, the Sw-S2- prefix that precedes all surface eater site
names will often be dropped throughout the following text. As an example, Siie 541-52-5
will 6e referred to as Site 5.
Fish Creek Drainage. Seven monitoring sites exist within the Fish Creek drainage: NPDES
004, SN-S2-6, and SN-S2-10 are located on Cou Camp Creek. NPDES 008 and Sw-52-12 are
located on Bond Creek and Sites Sw-52-11 and Sw-S2-13 exist on Fish Creek.
NPDES Discharge Point 004. Hydrographs based on weekly floe measurements are presented in
Appendix F. The hydrogra phs for NPDES sites consist of two parts; the first being data
for 1991 only, while the second shows historical data from July, 1982 to September, 1991.
The mean weekly flows for the past several years were;
1991wY (water Year) = 0.189 cfs
1990NY = 0.135 cfs
1989wY = 0.214 cfs
1988wY = 0.180 cfs
1987wY = 0.110 cfs
7986wY = 0.294 cfs
1985CY (Calendar Year) = 0.357 cfs
1984CY = 0.447 cfs
1983CY = 0.154 cfs (reservoir did not completely fill until
March 7, 1983)
12
