' Based on a 50:50 projected split in distribution to each of the proposed access locations, this
results in an additional 132 trips per day on each of the County Roads. Attached are maps
depicting the 1992 Background ADT on the existing roadways, projected 1996 Background
ADT with site generated peak monthly ADT based on the above assumptions, and projected
2016 Background ADT with the same site generated peak monthly ADT. Background traffic is
externally generated traffic. The projections are based on a 2% increase in volume per year based
on data from the Colorado Department of Transportation for Harmony Road or Colorado State
Number 68. The infotmation on these maps is summarized in the table below along with the
projected net percentage of increase in traffic volumes to the County Roads that will be generates
' by the site.
1

1
1
TABLE 2.2 AVERAGE DAILY TRIPS DURING PEAK MONTH
CR 7 CR 36
Background Site % Increase Background Site % Increase
1992 180 - - 220 - -
1996 194 132 36 238 132 40
2006 238 132 31 290 132 36
In addition to the above data, the site is anticipated to generate peak hourly truck traffic volumes
between the hours of 9AM and 3PM at 25% above the average daily truck traffic volumes.
