,;; •`~ J <br />3.1.4 Proposed 2001 Activities and Schedule ,~ <br />~, <br />Processing <br />White River Nahcolite Minerals anticipates production of approximately~ons of <br />product in 2001 from cavities 1A, 3A, and 4A and the addition of more cross lateral <br />vertical injection/recovery wells similar to 4A-6V. Continuous production and additional <br />"debottlenecking" projects are planned for the plant. These include upgrades to the <br />automatic valve system, replacement of TFF blower unit, metal detection on super sack <br />and truck load out lines. The belt conveyor to the truck load out could be replaced to <br />increase the capacity. Anew cooling tower will be purchased and installed to work in <br />parallel with the present cooling tower. An additional pipe line may be installed from <br />the south end of the field to decrease flow restrictions to the plant. Installation of a <br />new air dryer will be completed and utilized. Anew wash water sump pump will be <br />installed to reduce solids lost to process pond. Efforts to increase the output <br />temperature to the mine will continue through optimization of the plant boilers and <br />possible replacement of "temporary" or outside boilers. <br /> <br />Projects to upgrade the food safety of our product will be initiated on an ongoing basis. <br />As food safety issues are identified, either through White River Nahcolite Minerals' <br />sanitation audits or through the audits of our customers, they will be evaluated and <br />corrections made as needed. <br />8 <br />
