• Process monitoring and control will be from the central control <br />room. Either of the operator stations will be capable of <br />performing all necessary interfacing between the control system <br />and the operator(s). The operator interface will include complex <br />alarming, trending, analog and discrete monitoring, setpoint <br />i~ adjustment of control loops, as well as the capability to start <br />and stop motors. Any additional hardware necessary for software <br />modifications will also be housed in this control room. There <br />will be two system printers utilized for generated reports and for <br />alarm documentation, etc. <br />Site Fencin4 <br />• Eight foot high woven wire fence has been constructed around the <br />ten acre evaporation pond to limit access to animals. A four <br />strand barbed wire fence (conforming to BLM Type D specifications) <br />was constructed around the facilities topsoil embankment and to <br />the south side of the plant facilities. In the spring of 1991 the <br />remaining portion of the facility fence will be completed along <br />the south-east side. <br />2.1.8 Off-Site Facilities <br />NaTec currently operates a sodium bicarbonate pulverizing <br />facility near Fruita, Colorado to receive, process, store and ship <br />sodium bicarbonate. Near Rifle, Colorado, at the Lacy railroad <br />• loadout site, NaTec plans to construct a storage/loadout facility <br />18 <br />
