The annual hydrologic report shall <br />contain at a minimum: <br />The report is incompliance with this rule. The report is to be submitted to the Division by April 1 <br />following closure of the report year (Permit, page 4.05-11). The report was received in the Division <br />on March 12, 2001, under a transmittal letter of March 9, 2001. Water monitoring requirements are <br />presented on pages 4.05-11 through 4.05-14 of the permit, and are summazized on page 1 of the <br />report. There are two surface water monitoring stations on Goodspring Creek (New Upper <br />Goodspring Creek station located upstream from mining activities, and Lower Goodspring Creek <br />station located below mining activities). There is one surface water monitoring station on Taylor <br />Creek (Lower Taylor Creek below mining activities). There are two groundwater monitoring wells <br />on Goodspring Creek (North Goodspring Well located downstream of mining activities and [he A6 <br />well located upstream of mining activities). There is one alluvial monitoring well (Gossard Well) <br />located down gradient from the Gossard Coal Loadout facility. <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(i): Wnter quantity data obtained from each monitoring site during the water <br />year; <br />The report is in compliance with this rule with the permitted exception that water quantity data was <br />submitted by calendar year in-lieu-of water year (Permit, page 4.05-11). Water quantity data is <br />required for surface flows at the New Upper Goodspring Creek, Lower Goodspring Creek, and <br />Lower Taylor Creek surface water monitoring sites. Water quantity data is submitted in Discharge <br />Monitoring Reports (DMR) of the sedimentation ponds. This information is submitted to the <br />Division as copies of the DMRs at the same frequency as they are submitted to the Colorado <br />Department of Public Health and Environment (quarterly). They are included in the AHR by <br />reference.
