All material used to make extrusion welds shall be of a type recommended and <br /> supplied by the manufacturer and shall be delivered in the original sealed container, <br /> each with an indelible label bearing the brand name, manufacturer's mark number, <br />' and complete directions as to proper storage. <br />' D. The seaming equipment used shall be capable of continuously monitoring and <br />controlling the temperature of the zone of contact where the machine is actually <br />fusing the lining material so as to ensure that changes in environmental conditions <br />will not affect the integrity of the weld. <br />' E. All welds or seams shall be tightly bonded upon completion of the work. Any <br />membrane area showing injury due to excessive scuffing, puncture, or distress from <br />' any cause shall be repaired by replacement or covering with an additional piece of <br />synthetic membrane. <br /> F. No air gaps or other defects shall be allowed within the seam area. Where defects <br />' occur, the material shall be cut, and patched. <br />' G. Seaming of liner material on which visible moisture, dirt or foreign debris are present <br />will not be permitted <br /> . <br /> H. Perform seaming when air temperatures are 40°F or above. If seaming is <br />° <br />° <br />' performed at temperatures of 32 <br />F to 40 <br />F, the contractor should have equipment <br /> present which will permit seaming at temperatures below 40°F subject to the <br /> approval of the Owner's Representative. <br /> <br /> I. Construct anchor trenches and anchorages to structures as shown on the Drawings <br /> and in accordance with approved Shop Drawings. <br />' J <br /> . Do not drag liner panels along the ground prior to installation. Individual panels <br /> must be lifted and properly placed prior to seaming. <br /> K. Lining installation shall be performed so as to avoid damage during high winds. <br /> Secure the leading edge of the liner at all times with sandbags, rubber tires or other <br /> means that are adequate to hold it down during high winds. Do not drive heavy <br />' equipment on the liner during installation. <br /> L.
