• a. Process operations were reinitiated the first of February and ran on a <br />more continuous basis with production of 19,302 tons for the year. <br />However, prior to operations a blockage which developed during <br />extended shut-down had to be drilled out. <br />b. Sonar surveys and gamma ray logs were performed in February and <br />December. <br />c. Cavity #2 and #3 well pairs were not drilled. <br />d. Process modifications were performed, i.e. replacement of pumps, <br />agitators and redirection of flow, thus increasing bicarb crystal size. <br />e. A decision on abandonment of Skyline #1 and Cross V wells was <br />• received from EPA and BLM. The decision requires abandonment only <br />if mining close to wells. <br />f. Areas seeded in the fall of 1991 were hydromulched. <br />g. The pregnant liquor tank was damaged and its operation will be <br />restricted to 15 psi. <br />h. A calibration test on the belt scale was performed successfully for the <br />BLM. <br />i. As result of production greater than storage capacity land sales) the <br />process operation was suspended late in July and resumed in late <br />September.
