<br />Complete retraining of all of the above corkers <br />shall.be done every twv years. <br />12.1.9 REPORTS ~ T(-IE DEPARIA7FNf <br />12.1.9.1 Annual Reports <br />The licensee shall submit annual reports to the <br />Department by Dlarch 31 of each year for the <br />previous year ending December 31, as follows: <br />12.1.9.1.1 Audits <br />An annual audit shall be submitted to the <br />Department by an independent auditor which shall <br />include conclusions and recamnendations of a <br />review of all audits and inspections, as well as <br />employee exposures (including bioassay data), <br />effluent release data and environmental data, to <br />determine (1) if there are any up~rard trends <br />developing in personnel exposures for <br />identifiable categories of workers or types of <br />operations or effluent releases, (2) if exposures <br />and effluents might be lowered under the concept <br />of as low as reasonably achievable, and (3) if <br />equipment for effluent and exposure control is <br />being properly used,' maintained, and inspected. <br />12.1.9.1.2 ALARP. <br />The licensee shall provide to the Department an <br />annual report on the program for maintaining <br />uranium, thorium and decay product exposures and <br />releases AIAP,A (including as attachments the <br />Fadiation Safety Officer's quarterly reports to <br />the Internal Audit Committee, Internal Audit <br />Cocmnittee's audits, and any revisions to the <br />written procedures manual). <br />12.1.9.2 Semiannual Reports <br />The licensee shall provide semiannual reports to <br />the Department by March 31 and September 30 <br />ofeach year for the 6-month periods ending <br />December 31 and June 30, respectively, as follows: <br />VII -6- <br />
