<br />12.1.4.2.3 Training <br />The licensee shall maintain a docwnented training <br />program, approved by the Department, to insure <br />that an adequate number of trained persons are <br />always available each day of the year on site, to <br />respond to fires, accidents and other emergencies <br />which may result in occupational radiation <br />exposure or in a release of radioactive material <br />into unrestricted areas. <br />12.1.5 SURETY <br />12.1.5.1 Maintenance of Surety <br />The licensee shall maintain all surety <br />instruments required for this license in effect <br />until final action on release or renewal is taken <br />by the Department. <br />12.1.5.2 Annual Review of Surety <br />The licensee's surety required by this license <br />shall be subject to annual review for adequacy by <br />the Department. It may be adjusted upward or <br />downward as current circumstances, including but <br />not limited to, inflation, regulations, and <br />technology, require. The licensee shall submit <br />any proposed changes by September 30th each year. <br />12.1.6 AIARA (AS LOW AS RFASONAHLY ACHIEVABLE) <br />The licensee's management shall maintain and <br />participate in an effective ALARA program as <br />referenced in the manual required by LC 12.1.7. <br />The ALAFA program performance shall be reviewed <br />monthly by the Radiation Safety Officer, and <br />quarterly by the Internal Audit Committee. <br />12.1.7 OPDRATING N,AN[IALS <br />12.1.7.1 Contents <br />The licensee shall operate in accordance withthe <br />comprehensive written manual, approved by the <br />Department, of administrative, operating, safety, <br />monitoring, decontamination, and emergency <br />procedures, governing licensed activities.
