<br />and other authorizations of all local, state and <br />federal agencies which have authority over any <br />aspect of the licensee's activity authorized by <br />Items 6, 7, 8, and Condition 9 of the license. <br />12.1.3.2 Modification or Renewal of Other Permits <br />The licensee shall notify the Department of all <br />applications to each permitting agency for permit <br />modification or renewal. <br />12.1.4 E7~'~RGEN('Y ACTIONS <br />12.1.4.1 Report of Accidents <br />The licensee shall, immediately upon discovery, <br />notify the Director, Radiation and Hazardous <br />47astes Control Division, Colorado Department of <br />Health, 4210 East 11th Avenue, IJenver, Colorado <br />(telephone 303-320-8333) by telephone of any <br />failure or imminent threat of failure in any <br />process, diversion, or retention system which <br />results or may result in a release of radioactive <br />material into unrestricted areas. 'Ibis <br />requirement is in addition to the requirements of <br />Part N , State of Colorado Rules and Regulations <br />Pertaining to Radiation Control. <br />12.1.4.2 Dnergency Response Capability <br />12.1.4.2.1 Plans <br />The licensee shall use plans in the Cotter <br />Procedures Manual, approved by the Department, <br />for dealing .with accidents and fires in the <br />processing operation, and in the transportation <br />of radioactive material. These plans shall <br />include provisions for prompt retrieval of any <br />radioactive material released by rupture of any <br />impoundment, containment, or pipeline. <br />12.1.4.2.2 Equipment <br />The licensee shall have available on site <br />sufficient pumps, pipes, earth moving equipment, <br />clean-up tools and supplies, containers, <br />personnel support supplies, and fire fighting <br />equipment to make an adequate response to <br />accidents and fires. <br />VII -3- <br />
