' 6.0 N1LRD REGDLATIONS <br />" 6.1 Introduction <br />To provide assistance in the completeness review for the <br />stabilization of the Blue Ribbon mine bench, a review of <br />appropriate regulations and discussions concerning the <br />appropriate conditions to satisfy these regulations is provided. <br />The format for this section includes regulation numbers and <br />reference to appropriate sections of the report or discussion of <br />appropriate actions to be taken. <br />-' 6.2 Regulations <br />I $ylQ 4.09 Disposal of excess spoil and underground <br />development waste. <br />I $~g 4,.09.1 General $Q,auirements <br />I Rule 4.09.1(1) All spoil or underground development waste <br />- not required to achieve the approximate original contour <br />within the area where such material has been removed shall <br />be hauled or conveyed to and placed in designated disposal <br />areas within a permit area, if disposal areas are authorized <br />for such purposes in the approved permit application in <br />accordance with 4.09. The spoil or waste shall be placed in <br />I a controlled manner to ensure: <br />COMMENT: The project requires a volume of underground <br />I development waste well beyond what Blue Ribbon could pzoduce <br />I , during the construction period of the project. Therefore, <br />underground development waste will be impocted to the <br />project.
