(Larson 1981:2,27,28, and `14). <br />Vegetation in the area is characterized by shortgrass prairie <br />associations, with native olants including blue grama, side-oats <br />grama, needle-and-thread grass, yucca, cactus, mountain mahogany, <br />and Gambel oak.
