<br />' (Section 4.2.4), quality control (Section 4.2.12), and quality assurance procedures shall be <br />followed throughout the installation of both the VLDPE membrane. <br />It is the Contractor's responsibility to install the liner without punctures, rips, or faulty field <br />I' seams. All rips, punctures, and faulty field seams shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the <br />Quality Assurance Engineer. Approval of the liner foundation by the Quality Assurance Engineer <br />does not relieve the liner Contractor of the responsibility to repair damage to the liner. The <br />Contractor should satisfy himself that the liner foundation is adequate to receive the liner before <br />commencing liner installation. <br />' The Contractor shall protect installed synthetic liner in a condition satisfactory to the Quality <br />Assurance Engineer at all times until the final completion and acceptance of the work. Any <br />' approved installed liner which become damaged or unsuitable for any reason whatsoever before <br />final acceptance of the work, shall be removed and replaced or repaired by the Contractor at his <br />own expense in a manner satisfactory to the Quality Assurance Engineer. <br />4.2.3 S bmi <br />' The Contractor shall furnish complete written instructions for storage, handling, installation and <br />seaming of liner, in compliance with this Specification and conditions of warranty prior to <br />construction. The Contractor shall also furnish drawings showing panel layouts and prepare and <br />submit a time schedule for liner construction, including complete testing for acceptance prior to <br />construction. <br />The following shall be furnished for resin used in the manufacture of proposed geomembranes: <br />- Statement of production date or dates; <br />- Certification that the resin meets the Specifications; <br />- Certification that all resin is from the same supplier; <br />' - Copy of the quality control certificates issued by supplier; <br />- Test reports from the supplier; and <br />1 - A statement that no reclaimed polymer was added. <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br />
