<br />' the Contractor from full responsibility to furnish and install materials in confomtance with these <br />' Specifications. <br />3.5 Alteration to Drawings and Specifications <br />All alterations made to either the Specifications or Drawings shall be subject to the Design <br />Engineer's approval and, where applicable, to the approval of regulatory government agencies. <br />All alterations shall be issued under a covering work order signed by the Design Engineer. <br />4.0 SYNTHETIC MATERIAL <br />' 4.1 Scope <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install synthetic materials, all very low density polyethylene <br />(VLDPE), and miscellaneous materials incident thereto in accordance with the manufacturer's <br />' recommendations. Alignments, lengths, and areas are shown on or derived from the Drawings. <br />Exact locations and lengths may be varied to suit conditions encountered itt the field, as <br />approved by the Quality Assurance Engineer. <br />Synthetic liner material to be installed for the project shall consist of a 40-mil WLDPE liner. <br />4.2 Synthetic Liner <br />' 4.2.1 Scone <br />The Contractor shall furnish and install synthetic liner and miscellaneous materials incident <br />thereto as specified herein and in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. <br />Installation includes excavation and baclcfilling of synthetic liner anchor trenches as required. <br />' Exact locations and lengths may be varied to suit conditions encountered in the field, as <br />approved by the Quality Assurance Engineer. <br />4.2.2 General <br />The liner shall consist of a 40-mil very low density polyethylene (VLDPE) liner. The Conttactor <br />shall comply with the manufacturer's specifications concerning all aspects of shipping, storage, <br />installation, seaming, and seating of the liner.
