I <br />'' 1.5 Limits of Work <br />The Contractor shall confine his apparatus, the storage of materials, and the operation of <br />workmen to limits indicated by law, ordinances, permits or selected by the Construction <br />' Manager, and shall not unreasonably encumber the premises with his materials. Extreme caution <br />shall be exercised at all times to avoid blocking plant or other roads or in any other way <br />interfering with the Owner's operations or presenting a hazard to the Owner's personnel and <br />equipment, or to the public. <br />' 2.0 CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBQ.ITY <br />' The Contractor shall carefully examine all of the Technical Specifications and Drawings, and <br />the site of the work. He shall fully inform himself as to the character of all condimons at the site, <br />' local and otherwise, affecting the execution of the work, including those conditions to which <br />Federal, State, and local safety and/or health laws and regulations may be applicable. Failure <br />to comply with the requirements of this section shall not relieve the Contractor of responsibility <br />' for complete performance of the work. <br />' It shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor to familiarize himself, by such means as he <br />considers appropriate, with all matters pertaining to this work including, but not limited to: <br />- The location and nature of work; <br />' - Climatic conditions; <br />- The nature and conditions of the terrain; <br />' - Transportation and communication facilities; <br />' - Other construction at the Project site that may be underway simultaneously with the <br />construction work for the facilities; and <br />' - All other factors that may affect the cost, duration, and execution of the work. <br />Before accepting the work, the Contractor shall acknowledge in writing that he has inspected the <br />site and determined the characteristics of the work and the conditions indicated above. <br />' 3 <br /> <br />
