is distributed to various Beat exchangers throughout the plant. <br /> <br />Most heat removed in the cooling crystallization is recycled into the barren liquor. The <br />remainder is passed to atrnosphere by the evaporative cooling tower. WRN's natural gas <br />service line consists of 2.1 miles of 4" pipeline and a regulator and metering station. <br />Phone communication is provided by the US West phone company via the Yellow Creek <br />Jeep Trail route and the previous project access road. <br />The fire protection system consists of a diesel powered water pump and an underground <br />fire hydrant loop. Hose cabinets are located adjacent to the hydrants. Portable fire <br />extinguishers are strategically located throughout the facility. Afire protection system has <br />been constructed for flammable materials in the product warehouse. <br />~~ <br />The new 10 acre evaporation pond receives process spills, bicarb drill cuttings, cooling <br />tower blow down, steam !3enerator blow down and water so [ener regeneration waste. <br />An isolation dike separates a 3 acre section to contain process water for possible recycle. <br />•Y <br />A sprinkler system was installed in 1994 on the waste por to increase evaporation. <br />Numerous dust collection systems are utilized to minim fugitive dust emissions.
