3.2.3 Pro osed 1995 Activltles and Schedule <br />WRN anticipates production of 60,000 tons in 1995. A fines recycle project is planned <br />for the second quarter to provide more efficient product removal from plant brine. Cavity <br />#4 drilling is planned for the first quarter to develop more reserves for production. The <br />plant will be on a continuous production schedule with scheduled downtime for plant and <br />operations maintenance. Mining from cavities #2, #3, and #4 is anticipated to meet 1995 <br />production demands. <br />4.0 1994 PROJECT ACTIVITIES <br />4.1 On-Site Facilities and Process Description <br />4.1.1 General Arrangement <br />• WRN operates the Wolf Ridge Mine producing a high grade sodium bicarbonate (bicarb) <br />on four federal sodium lease tracts within the Piceance Basin in northwestern Colorado. <br />Figure 2-1 illustrates location of project, leases, wells, access road and associated utility <br />lines. Figure 4-1 illustrates overall process facilities site plan. <br />4.1.2 1994 Plant Modifications <br />Minimal plant modifications were pertormed in 1994. An additional bagging unit and <br />conveyors were installed in packaging to increase production capabilities for 50 Ib. bags. <br />A sprinkler system to incnsase evaporation from the waste pond was installed. Screens <br />were instilled on vents and doors to meet food grade requirements. <br />13 <br /> <br />
