.~. .
barren liquor would saturate before returning up the nearest set of perforations and up
• through the annulus. Heat limitations due to transfer of heat between barren and
pregnant streams, precluded adequate mining with this arrangement. The down hole
mining temperature was probably low enough that limited mining was possible.
h. During December, a change in the quality of the raw water entering the plant
was noticed. Appropriate government agencies were notified and mitigation effort started
immediately to stop any further decrease in water quality. Water going into cavity #2 for
pressure maintenance was stopped and a set of temperature logs were run on several
of the wells in the field which could possibly be in contact with the A-Groove aquifer.
i. A second b<~gging system was installed along side the existing bagging
system. The new bagging equipment has a double filling system to increase output by
100% over the single filling system previously in use.
+. j. During 1994, a total of 46,908 tons were produced during the year against
projected budget of 60,000 tons.
k. A forced evaporation system was built for the waste pond to accelerate the
tt rering of its level. Drilling and production operations had increased the rate of water
bef.:ring the pond greater than the natural evaporation rate.
w, I.
