During March, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a total
of 9,794,100 gallons (30.06 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek and a total of 899,200
gallons (2.76 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant to the
tailing impoundment. Seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry during the month.
The monthly precipitation accumulation for March was 0.45 inches, with the largest
accumulation occurring on March 4th (0.20").
