Walker <br />subject: Finding of Compliance, 1996 Annual Hydrology Report <br />date: February 8, 1999 <br />Rule 4.05.13(4)(c): A hydrologic report shall be submitted to the Division annually with the date <br />of submittal determined in consultation with the permittee. The annual hydrologic report shall <br />contain at n minimum: <br />The report was received in the Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) on February 6, 1998. <br />under a Powderhom Coal Company letter (Larry M. Reschke) of February 5, 19988. The submittal <br />date for this report was March 30, 1997. The Powderhorn Coal Company letter acknowledges the <br />late submittal, and alludes to Division's indulgence. A preliminary review (March 16, 1998, <br />attached) of the report was accomplished by Dan Mathews, and transmitted to Jim Burnell on March <br />16, 1998. <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(i): Water quantity data obtanzed from each monitoring site during the venter <br />year; <br />The report is in compliance with this rule with the exceptions noted in the March I6 preliminary <br />review. <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(ii): Water yualiry data obtainecf~ronr each monitoringsite during the inter year; <br />and <br />The report is in compliance with this rule with the exceptions noted in the March 16 preliminary <br />review. <br />Rule 4.05.14(4)(c)(iii): Ij required by the Division, n written interpretation of the data and <br />identification of mining related impacts to the hydrologic balcnrce. <br />
