Walker to File
January 8. 1999
Page 2 of 2 Pages
The report is in compliance with this rule. The Division required no written interpretation of the
data, but a summary of impacts is provided in the report. Impacts are reported as within the probable
hydrologic consequences as presented in the Permit. As stated in the preliminary repot, some
discharges exceeded the NPDES (Colorado) permit allowances. Annual Hydrologic Report Table
G96-2 headings might be more appropriately labeled. The headings cover both depths to water and
elevations. Minimum depths to water result in maximum water elevations, and vise-versa. The
headings would be more indicative of the information if they were "Highest Water Levels" (currently
the Minimum Water Level) and 'Lowest Water Levels" (currently the Maximum Water Level).
Table 18-4 might be revised to indicate critical target water by elevation in-lieu-of critical target
depths to better communicate the stability analysis thresholds.
C:\ WPDOCS\96ahrrnv.041.doc
CC: Dan Hernandez
