<br />• PAW-3 Alluvial well located adjacent to the Purgatoire River <br />approximately 300 yards downstream of PAW-2. The well was <br />established in the backfilled channel during the diversion of the <br />Purgatoire River. It was established to monitor the quality and <br />quantity of water movement into the downstream end of the <br />diversion. <br />PAW-4 Alluvial well located adjacent to the Purgatoire River <br />approximately 100 yards downstream of PAW-3. The well was <br />established in the backfilled channel during the diversion of the <br />Purgatoire River. It was established to monitor the quality and <br />quantity of water movement into the downstream (west) end of the <br />diversion. <br />PAW-5 Alluvial well located just below PRS-2 at the Golden Eagle Mine <br />entrance. Established to gather baseline data above the Golden <br />Eagle Mine and Nbnitor quantity and quality of water in the <br />• alluvium below the New Elk Mine. <br />PAW-6 Alluvial well located adjacent to PRS-3. Established to monitor <br />mine discharge, existing opal refuse and other potential effects <br />of mining below the Golden Forge Mine. <br />C(AW-1 Alluvial well located in the Ciruela Canyon alluviian at the mouth <br />of Ciruela Canyon. Established to monitor potential effects of <br />Golden Eagle mining and surface facilities activities inthe canyon <br />(including refu"se disposal). <br />ACAW-1 Alluvial well located in the Apache Canyon alluvium at the mouth <br />of Apache Canyon. Established to monitor potential effects of <br />secondary or retreat mining. This station is currently inactive <br />as per Q~'II,RD approval. <br />West Located at the West Portal Man Way at the western end of the <br />• Portal permit boundary. Discharge does not enter a receiving stream. <br />
