Two undesirable event reports were filed in <br />2000, three filed in 1999, and thirteen filed in 1998. Three notices of noncompliance were <br />issued by the EPA in 2001. Suridry Notices were submitted concerning wells 3A~H, 3A-4HI, <br />4A-0V, 4A-4V, 3A-5V, and 26-3C. The EPA approved conversion of core hole 26-3C to be <br />used as an injection well. Well 4A-6V formerly used as an injection well was approved as a <br />production well. Production well 4A-4V for cavity #4A was approved by the EPA as an <br />injection well. Approval by the BLM and EPA was granted to drill recovery well 1-3A, a vertical <br />well connecting to cavities #1A and 3A. Request for renewal of Sodium Leases C-0118326, <br />C-0118327, C-0119986, and C-37474 was approved for ten years. .Eleven site inspections <br />by the BLM and one inspection by the EPA were performed. <br />3.1.4 Proposed 2002 Activities and Schedule <br />Processing <br />White River Nahcolite Minerals anticipates production of approximately~ons of <br />product in 2002 from cavities #1A, 3A, 4A, new cavity 5 and the combination of cross <br />lateral vertical injection/recovery wells such as 4A-6V, 26-3C, and 1-3A.
