David Berry
October 8, 1990
Page Four

The following constituents were analyzed by the dissolved method instead of the total
recoverable method:
1. Cadmium
2. Mercury
3. Selenium
4. Iron
5. Manganese
6. Molybdenum
The SA values were calculated for all three stations but were not presented in the report.
The values for Stations 900, 16 and 800 are respectively: 0.62, 1.34, and 0.52.
MLRD CONCERN:
4. The data listing for Site 307 (Fish Creek) indicates that flow measurements were
missed due to a missing plumb bob. This seems to happen with some frequency.
Please be sure to keep replacements on site so that repair occurs quickly, and so
that required measurements are not missed.
CYCC Response:
Cyprus will keep a supply of plumb bobs and cable available but due to the vandalism
problem they cannot be kept at each site.
MLRD CONCERN:
5. The following parameters were not analyzed for the September 1989 sample at site
900 (Foidel Creek): total suspended solids, SAR, cadmium, mercury, selenium,
silver, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc. Please explain these omissions.
CYCC Response:
Refer to response to concern number three.
