While the <br />full impact of the changes have not been experienced, a doubling of <br />the product size was accomplished by August, 1991. <br />q. The original roll compactors proved to be misapplied and were <br />removed from the plant and sold. <br />3.2.3 Proposed 1992 Activities and Schedule <br />Marketing in 1992 will focus on penetration of the traditional bicarb market as well <br />as continued development of the Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) applications. The <br />Clean Air Act compliance date of 1995 means slow FGD growth in 1992. FGD is <br />expected to become a major market by 1995. <br /> <br />NaTec anticipates production of approximately 24,000 tons in 1992. Production <br />is scheduled to commence in mid-January. The plant will be on a continuous <br />production schedule rather than the 10 operating and 4 down schedule used in <br />much of 1991. <br />No significant changes in monitoring, mining method, crystallization, drying or <br />shipping are anticipated in 1992. Operating procedures will shift toward reduced <br />flow rate and temperature focusing on product quality and efficiency. <br /> <br />t0 <br />
