29, Sprug & Pond 5-1, Sprug & Pond 6-4, Sprug 6-6, Spring 1-3, and Spring 7-9
• rere not. monitored extensively during 1993. No mining impacts stem¢irg from the
extent of mine developrent to date could possibly have affected these locations.
Foes additional 'Perron Creek springs, Spring & Pond 17, Spring & Pond 20, Spring
& Pond 7-1, arxi Spring 1-5, are located beyond any mining corxiwcted during air
prior to 1993 and have extensive data collected to characterize the typical
hydrology at these sites. COVCC did not extensively monitor any of these
locations during 1993 as no minim impacts could possibly have occurred at any
of these sites. However, all four of these locations were subsequently
identified aryl targeted by the Division as adjudicated water rights within the
permit area which will consequently be monitored further during 1994.
• The remaining four Terror Creek springs overlie areas of the Fast min e not
developed to date. Spring & Pond 22 was monitored twice beginning in June, 1993.
'Ibis site lies outside the area of any potential mining impacts and exhibited
flows and field parameters consistent with previous patterns established at this
site. Spring 21 lies outside the area of any potential minim impacts given mine
development to date and exhibited flow and field parameters in July consistent
with previous measurements. Springs 7-1D and 8-5 are also located beyond the
area of potential mine impacts given Fast mine Development to date and showed
consistent flow and field parameter measurements during 1993. No adverse mine
related impacts or other irregularities were noted at any of the Terror Creek
springs.
SOItF7~CE WATIR MPRRCRII~ STATIONS - b`PItF7~f5 Ai~ID DPIC7~S
. Monitoring of surface water stations during 1993 was concentrated in the Stevens
~Ulch arxi F;~st Roatcap Creek areas as those drainages had seen recent mining
15
