3.2 Schedule <br />3.2.1 1995 Planned Production and Activities. <br />The annual plan for 1995 proposed the following: <br />a. Production of approximately 60,000 tons in 1995. <br />b. Installation of a fines recovery system during the second quarter of 1995. <br />c. The plant will be maintained on a constant production schedule. <br />d. Cavity #4 will be drilled during the first quarter of 1995. <br />e.Continue to mine cavities #2, 3, and 4 to meet anticipated production demands <br />during 1995. <br />3.2.2 Actual 1995 Production and Activities. <br />The following was accomplished in 1995: <br />a. Cavity #4 was put on line during the second quarter of 1995. The anticipated <br />• length of 3500 feet was cut to approximately 1000 feet when a fracture system was <br />encountered during the drilling of the horizontal section through the Boies Bed. <br />b. A submersible pump was installed in the cavity #4 recovery well to return <br />pregnant liquor to the plant. Initially a 300 gpm pump was installed but later it was <br />replaced with a 500 gpm pump. During December 1995 one pump failure occurred on <br />this well when the pump shaft parted. <br />c. At approximately the same time a submersible pump was being installed in <br />cavity #4, circulation was lost on cavity #3. A submersible pump similar to the one <br />installed in cavity #4 was also installed in cavity #3. The first pump installed failed within <br />hours of startup when the wellhead holding the 4 1/2" tubing parted and dropped the <br /> <br />
