' borrow sources for embankment fill material; and 2) the geotechnical and engineering analyses conducted
in support of the design for the tailings pond embankment raise.
1.2 Limitations
The conclusions and recommendations presented in this report, and the facilities designs developed
therefrom, are based upon the data generated through the focused site investigation and geotechnical testing
' of the representative samples collected, as well as information supplied by ITEC and previous
owner/operator of the mine/mill facility. In order to adequately compensate for possible shortcomings
inherent in the focused nature of the site investigation, a conservative design approach has been adopted.
' It is anticipated that there will be variations in subsurface conditions across the site, which will only become
evident during the course of construction. Design revisions that are considered to be warranted to
accommodate such changed conditions will be made, as necessary. Such revisions are not expected to
materially alter the overall scope or concept of the proposed works.

1

~ 1
1

1

' 2
