ATTACHMENT A <br />• 2000 Field Maintenance Work at Edna Mine <br />The attached map shows the location of the following maintenance work performed at the Edna <br />Mine in 2000. The item listing corresponds to the number listing on the map. <br />Repairs shown in red on the map: <br />1. Clean ditches on both sides of the road on south side the pole gate. <br />2. Unnamed culvert -clean oudreshape culvert exit (second culvert south of towers). <br />3. Culvert SK-3 -clean out inlet sump (1" culvert -about 200 f[. -south of towers). <br />a. Culvert SK-1 -clean out entrance ditch on east side of Skyline road from culvert, south <br /> to first curve. Clean out culvert inlet sump. Clean ditch from SK-1 north to shop drive. <br />5. Repair breach in berm on west side of road, near Skyline road intersection. Clean ditch <br /> approximately 50 feet north of breach to approximately 50 south of breach to ensure <br /> positive drainage toward south. We will remove culvert SK-I later during the field <br /> season and construct a low water crossing at this location. <br />6. Goat Trail: <br /> 1" Switch Back (SB) -reshape inside ditch to make sure runoff stays against <br /> slope side of road. <br /> 1" SB to 2nd SB -blade/grade to keep runoff against inside slope. <br /> 2"d SB -clean out sediment in out channel to ensure runoff leaves Goat trail at <br />• this outlet (Outlet 1). <br />7. Goat Trail 4"' SB -culvert (TA-2) clean out inlet sump and ditch approach to ensure <br /> runoff stays in channel. <br />8. 5'h SB (Outlet 2) -clean out approach channel to ensure Flow stays in exit channel. <br />9. 6'h SB - (Outlet 3) -clean out outlet approach. <br />]0. Curve below Slump @ C-Bldg area - re-establish water cross-over (cross-over 3). <br />11. Culvert TA-3 -clean out inlet sump area (culvert near C-Bldg cut-off and upgradient of <br /> substation). <br />12. Culvert TA-8 -clean out inlet sump. <br />13. Clean shallow spot in east side ditch north of water cross-over. <br />14. Blade West Ridge Road from Shop to Super Curve - in blading road north of super- <br /> curve, slope road toward hillslope (i.e., west side is high side). Clean shallow spot in <br /> west side ditch (about 150 ft. south of berm breach listed in item 5) to ensure positive <br /> drainage toward south. Blade Skyline road to towers. <br />15. Blade West Ridge road between Terraces 7 and 11; establish ditch on up-slope side of <br /> road between terraces 7 and 10; blade below Terrace l0 to clean rills on downslope side <br /> of road. <br />l6. North Access Road -grade road from shop to county road; spot clean ditch from top of <br /> hill to bottom where needed (in area by north entrance pole gate). <br />17. Conveyor Belt Corridor -between 3~d SB and where Goat Trail cross corridor, contour <br /> furrow rills/gullies at 20-25' intervals: <br />18. Rock pond outlet. <br />f 9. Culvert E6 -rock outlet. <br />• <br />
