<br />C7 <br />Tract A - Virtually all activity in this area involved <br />the processing of materials mined elsewhere. Stockpiles, <br />crushers, and various other equipment occupied this area <br />throughout the period. A few areas at the top of the quarry <br />were investigated for possible mining, but no material was <br />extracted. The investigations may result in a technical <br />revision to alter the Tract A/C boundary or change the <br />mining timetable for these areas if mining is to be commenced. <br />Tract A-1 - Much of this area is occupied by the waste <br />disposal piles, office area, and access roads. Construction <br />of the new access road was initiated, but has been stopped <br />due to alterations in plans for development of lands to the <br />east of the quarry. At present a totally new road is being <br />planned. When plans are fully formulated they will be <br />submitted for approval as well as a reclamation plan for <br />reclaiming a major part of the new access road that was <br />partially constructed. <br />Tract C - Essentially all extractive activity has <br />occurred in this area. Mining is occurring as per the plan. <br />Most of the material mined was from the western part or the <br />tract near the upper levels of the quarry. A fair amount of <br />rock was also removed from the central part of the tract <br />near the entrance of the canyon. <br />Wilson Land Development Co. Area - No mining or processing <br />occurred in this area. The only disturbances were the roads <br />providing access from Tract C to Tract A.
