<br />5) Replace item 3.S.E.1 located in Section 6.0 of the Specifications, Subsection 02200, page <br />6-12 with the following: <br />1. The cast-in-place concrete bulkhead shall have a minimum reinforcement of (~S <br />rebar at 12 inches on center, each way located ti"from the existing steel <br />bulkhead (ti"from tensile face of CIP concrete seal). <br />6) Replace item 3.S.E.2 located in Section 6.0 of the Specifications, Subsection 02200, page <br />6-12 with the following: <br />2. Rebar must be grouted or epoxyed a minimum of 12 inches into competent <br />bedrock perimeter of the mine shaft. Use o either grout or epoxy shall be at the <br />discretion of the RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE. <br />7) Replace item 3.S.F. l located in Section 6.0 of the Specifications, Subsection 02200, page <br />6-12 with the following: <br />1. The concrete may be mixed at the work site or delivered as "ready mix," at the <br />RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATP/E's discretion. If the concrete is <br />mixed at the site, equipment and mixing procedures shall conform to ACI 301, <br />Chapter 7. If "ready mix" is used, it shall be mixed and transported in <br />accordance with ASTM C 94. The concrete mix shall be designed to produce a <br />minimum 4.000 psi concrete at the 28-day test. If hot weather concreting is to <br />be done, it shall conform to the requirements of ACI 305. If cold weather <br />concreting is to be done, it shall conform to the requirements of ACI 306. <br />8) Delete 1.3.A located in Section 6.0 of the Specifications, Subsection 02800, page 6-17. <br />9) Add the following to Section 6.0 of the Specifications, Subsection 02800, page 6-19 and <br />label as part 2.10: <br />2.10 ROCKBOLTS <br />A. Rockbolts that are to be used for securing rock fence to the face of a <br />slope shall have a minimum length of 3 foot and be a mechanical ripe <br />fastener subiect to the approval of the RESIDENT PROJECT <br />REPRESENTATIVE. <br />10) Delete page 2-1 and replace with the attached page 2-1 Schedule of Contract Prices and <br />Payments. <br />
