1 SECTION 02065 <br />' DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL <br />PART1 GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />' A. This section covers the labor, equipment, and materials necessary for the work <br />associated with the demolition and/or removal of the items as needed to perform the <br />work. <br />' B. Items scheduled for demolition and removal from the site are to be designated by the <br />RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE Items designated for demolition and <br />removal may include and shall not be limited to: miscellaneous outbuildings, sheds, <br />miscellaneous concrete walkways, slabs, and/or drives. <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />' A. The Subcontractor shall submit to the RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE <br />detailed methods of demolition to be used on each type of structure and shall provide <br />' necessary permits to demolish the structures, if required. <br />' PART2 PRODUCTS <br />2.1 GENERAL <br />A. The Subwntractor shall provide all materials and equipment in suitable and adequate <br />quantity as required to accomplish the work shown, specified herein, and as required <br />' to complete the project. <br />2.2 DISPOSAL OF MATF.RTai c <br />A. All logs, stumps, roots, brush, rotten wood, structural demolition debris, and other <br />refuse resulting from demolition activities shall be hauled to an approved landfill. <br />PART 3 EXECUTION <br />' 3.1 SAFETY REQI~FMRNTS <br />A. All work shall be done in conformance with applicable Colorado state law, OSHA, <br />MSHA, and with any other established rules and regulations pertaining to safety. <br />6-3 <br />
