<br />1 incompetent, dishonest, uncooperative or otherwise objectionable when requested to do so by <br />CONTRACTOR. <br />GC-34.0 PERMITS AND LICENSES <br />SUBCONTRACTOR shall secure and pay for all other licenses and permits required in <br />connection with performance of the WORK and shall hold CONTRACTOR and COMPANY <br />harmless from any failure to do so. <br />' GC-35.0 TAX S <br />' SUBCONTRACTOR shall pay all taxes, levies, duties and assessments of every nature due in <br />connection with any WORK under the CONTRACT and shall make any and all payroll <br />' deductions required by law. SUBCONTRACTOR hereby indemnifies and holds <br />CONTRACTOR and COMPANY harmless fmm any liability on account of any and all such <br />taxes, levies, duties, assessments and deductions. <br />' COMPANY may provide sales and/or use tax exemption certificates as aze applicable and as <br />COMPANY deems necessary. <br />GC-36.0 PATENTS <br />' SUBCONTRACTOR shall defend, indemnify and hold COMPANY and CONTRACTOR <br />harmless from liability of any nature or ]dad, including attorney's fees and cost of settlement, <br />for or on account of the use of any patented or unpatented invention, article, appliance or <br />process furnished or used in, or in connection with the performance of the WORK. <br />GC-37.0 INDEMNIFICATION <br />' To the maximum extent permissible by law, SUBCONTRACTOR shall defend, indemnify and <br />hold COMPANY and CONTRACTOR, including their affiliated entities, officers, employees <br />' and agents, harmless from any loss, claim, suit, damage or liability from injury or death of any <br />person, including employees of SUBCONTRACTOR, or damage or destruction to any property <br />arising from or in connection with any act or omission of SUBCONTRACTOR, his officers, <br />' agents or employees, regazdless of whether there is concurrent or contributory negligence on the <br />part of the COMPANY or CONTRACTOR. This indemnification obligation shall not be limited <br />in any way by any limitation on the amount or type of damages, compensation or benefits <br />payable by or for SUBCONTRACTOR or any such subcontractor or other person or <br />organization under workers' or workmen's compensation acts, disability benefit acts or other <br />employee benefit acts. <br />GC-38.0 INSURANCE <br />SUBCONTRACTOR shall procure and maintain, during the period that this CONTRACT <br />remains in force, insurance coverage with limits of not less than those set forth in this clause. <br />SUBCONTRACTOR will require all insurance companies issuing policies of insurance for <br />' SUBCONTRACTOR, to certify to CONTRACTOR, prior to commencement of any WORK, that <br />' 3-13 <br />
