During May, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a total of
9,333,800 gallons (28.65 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek, a total of 810,800
gallons (2.49 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant to the
tailing impoundment, and seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry.
