r
Just a couple of points, in regard to water
quality data out here. There's not been any
indication of adverse impact resulting from the
site, as it pertains to existing surface water
quality data along Windy Gulch, which is the
drainage which goes through and along side of the
9360 and 9700 added areas at the project. Also,
available data in the information did not indicate
any problems with groundwater in the area of the
Bulldog, and there are no known adverse impacts to
groundwater users in the region or within a half a
mile of the site, so far as we know.
I think that's a quick synopsis of the issues and,
you know, what our views are on this. I think, as
far as, you know, some of the conclusions we draw
out of this is that we believe and feel that the
Division is not authorized to require a
groundwater investigation, as set forth in the
April letter of this year, based upon the
following items: present and any future
activities at the site that have the potential to
impact groundwater. Essentially, our activity
level there is very low, right now. It's
basically vegetative monitoring. We've done a
little bit of work; it's been very minor. The
mining, milling and processing activities there
were ongoing at the Bulldog were ceased back in
11
