an underground silver operation that we operated
there from 1969 through 1985, before we idled it.
At that point, we had a mill process on site
there. We had two tailings ponds; one was smaller
than the other. The initial pond is the smaller.
Both of those have been reclaimed. we have the
two tailings facilities there and, I guess that's
probably the main features.
A little bit of a chronology...getting back to
that...for the operation. As I indicated
previously, we operated the thing from 1967
through 1985, with active underground mining and
milling and processing, coming up with a silver
(~~ K ? ) In 1985 we quit mining operations
there. We undertook some interim reclamation work
for a period of time. After that, we maintained
our mine watering pumping activities there, in
case we made the decision to reopen the mine.
Subsequently, two years later we made a decision
to pull our mine pumps and, as a result, we were
not doing any mine dewatering or treating; we had
a water treatment plant there taking that
dewatering activity. And then in 1987, when those
were pulled, that allowed the mine to reflood back
to a static level. More recently, in the period
of 1992 to 1994, we undertook some additional
reclamation activities there and...which I will
5
