1 <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Alternative settlement mazker details may be proposed by the Contractor provided that they will <br />allow monitoring of settlement beneath the embattlmtent raise during and following raise <br />construction. Any alternatives shall be subject to the Engineer's approval. <br />10.0 DOCUMENTATION <br />The quality control plan depends on thorough monitoring and documentation of all construction <br />activities. Therefore, the Engineer will document that all quality assurance requirements have <br />been addressed and satisfied. Documentation will consist of daily record keeping, construction <br />problem resolutions, photographic records, design and Specification revisions, weekly progress <br />reports, and a certification and summary report. <br />10.1 Daily Recordkeeping <br />At a minimum, daily records will consist of field notes, summary of the daily meeting with the <br />' Contractor, observation and data sheets, and construction problem and resolution reports. This <br />information shall be submitted regularly to the engineer for review and approval. A <br />' memorandum shall be prepared summarizing discussions held with the Ccntractor. At a <br />minimum, the memorandum shall include the following: <br /> • Date, project name, and location; <br /> • Names of parties involved in discussions; <br />' • Scheduled activities; <br />• Items discussed; and <br /> • Signature of Engineer. <br />' <br /> 10.2 Observation and Test Data Sheets <br />' Observation and test data sheets shall include the following information: <br />• Date, project name, and location; <br />• Weather data; <br />' A reduced scale site plan showing work areas, including sample and test locations; <br />• A description of ongoing construction; <br />• A summary of test results identified as passing, failing, or, in the even: of a failed test, <br />retest; <br />• Test equipment calibrations, if applicable; <br />• A summary of decisions regarding acceptance of the work and/or corrective actions <br />' taken; and <br />.~g_ <br /> <br />
