Courpilntions <br /> <br />"I'hc conu'actor shall amiplclc soil borings in the locations of cacti of the DPG wells using <br />hollow stem auger drilling tcdutiqucs. 13oraholcs for the DPG wells will be completed to <br />approximately 17 feet below the existing ground surfaces As cacti boring is being drilled, <br />a quali(ial I:RM geologist will record lithology, organic vapor measurements, visual and <br />olfactory observations, and other pertinent field observations. Soil core samples will be <br />collected at continuous intervals over the enlirc length of the borehole. <br />All drilling equipment will be dccontaminatcd prior to drilling each borehole, using a <br />high pressure wash and potable water. All sampling equipment will be dccontaminatcd <br />prior to collecting cacti sample, using a Liquinox/distilled water wash, followed by a <br />distilled water rinse. <br />~1J1.2 Exuac[ion {VeIlGxs[n((criial <br />Dual-phase extraction wells will be installed through hollow stem augers in each of the <br />borcholes. The wells will be constructed of 2-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC flush joint <br />casing, and 2-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC screen (0.010" machine slotted).
